Investigation of Factors Affecting the Child-Rearing Attitudes of Mothers and Fathers With Chaid Analysis

This research is on the relationship between mothers and fathers in child-rearing attitudes, parents' was conducted to examine variables that affect attitudes. The study group relational screening model consisted of 324 children (n=648) 36-72 months old attending preschool education institutions. Parent Child-Rearing Attitudes Scale (ABTÖ-A) form used as a data collection tool study. Spearman-Brown Correlation Coefficient CHAID algorithm, one decision tree algorithms, were analyse data. As result research, it determined democratic attitudes decrease repressive-authoritarian increase their over-tolerant towards increase; rise, increase. Again, there positive significant It has been most important factors affecting parenting parents are birth order children, level mother, father, working status mother family structure.
